Road Racing and Replica Wheels
For track days and time attack I decided I want to run 18x9.5 wheels as I have seen a lot of used 275/35/18 R compounds available. I found some c6 z06 replica wheels I like (from a vendor on here and ebay), but I am hesitant about running non OE stuff on a road course. Am I being paranoid?

Road racing can be more harsh vs. a normal street wheel design.
I dont know what to tell you regarding what you're considering. We have specific designed road race wheels for road course racing applications.

Not sure about other companies, but our wheels are manufactured in facilities that produce original equipment. They are DOT, JWL, VIA and TUV approved, and are side impact and load bearing tested. They are manufactured with the highest quality A-365.2 virgin aluminum.
The forum members think they are pretty nice too.

Thanks for the replies. It's good to hear some good firsthand experience with them on track. I'll just be using them for the occasional track days and AutoX. I figured the replicas would have to be manufactured pretty well or we would all know about it quickly on here. I will check out the road race stuff too, but it might be overkill at this point.
