Going with welds need specs on spacers Im going to get a set of draglite. and run a 5/16" spacer in front with ARP studs. My qusetion is to minimize the grinding do you think a 1/2" spacer in the rear will help also?? I know you still have to grind but maybe not as much, a little less grinding will give me some peace of mind!!

make sure that that spacers that you get are specific for the f-body lug pattern, not the universal slotted ones. This will put less stress on the lugs. Plus thats the only way to pass spec depending on how strict they are.
