ET Front......

So I am thinking about running a ET front on my 15x3.5's instead of a Sportsman front.

The car is a 96 Formula and has a tubular K member so it is still pretty heavy. How will these tires do with the weight?

Also, how will they do with short trips? Track here is about an hour away and I don't have a trailer so will they be ok to drive on the interstate for an hour?

I ran them on my 15x3.5s with stock weight back in the day. They were fine. They are not a DOT tire, but I did drive to our campground with them a few times, which was about a hour drive on the highway. They will wear out quick though, and it is not advised.

I wouldn't drive on them much. I barely put 3,000 miles on my car a year as it is. So with these wheels and tires I doubt I'll put more than 1,000 on them.

I'm just **** about matching tires and I like the looks of the ET Fronts better than the Sportsman Front.

I'm with ya on that one. And in answer to your question, probably not. I've done just about all there is to do with drag setups on these cars haha. Prostars, Draglites, BS, Convo pros, Alumastars, Weldstars, Magnums, stockers with slicks, etc. Hahha.
