Bought ZR1's

Bought ZR1's Figured i'd post up and let you guys know I bought some C4 ZR1 replicas used. I got them for $190 total. Found 2 local 17x11s for $90 badly curb rashed, but I knew if I was buying used i'd be painting them all black. I know most of you advise against black, but I wanna try it out. For starters, 1. I haven't seen many all black ZR1's 2. I haven't found any MRM's with all black rims so I wanna try and be different and 3. They were rashed so bad that it was gonna need fixed anyways. I found 2 other local chrome 17x9.5's for $100 with tires with i'd say 40% tread left. No matter, I got both sets for a great deal, even if they've got a couple blemishes. Plus, if I don't like black I can sand em down and polish em as I know I love polished rims. I'll try and post up some pics of how they look now and the progress of painting

Oh I definatly will. I'm stoked to do it, its gonna take a while to get em mounted though. Hopefully the black turns out good on my color. Personally, I think it will, but I don't know I might hate it. It's should be a easy fix to switch it though

So its been a couple a weeks since I painted and posted, but I finally have some pics. I have both fronts painted & 1 17x11, the others still being stripped
And this is a teaser of what it should look like on my car
Since I have 2 with tires I put them on one side to see how it looks on MRM. Yes I didnt have time to mount them, ill try to and take more pics with them actually mounted. All I need now is some 315's for out back. Personally I like it, I know its dark, but i'm into it. I'm hopin it looks as good when they're on the car, I want it to kinda make the color of the car stick out, at least thats the effect i'm shootin for
