Need Traction!!! What are the absolute BEST street tires to use for traction....right now I have some grand spirits, they are decent, but they spin a good bit off the line. I want to shoot out of the hole and have all the advantage possible with my auto! I have heard that nitto 555rs are the ones to go with but I cant afford them due to their high price and low mileage! Need some that will get decent, good miles and the BEST traction!

The Nitto 555Rs are drag radials. They hook fairly well but require decent heating. Nittos street tires the 555 are very good all weather street tires that handle well but aren't ment to be launched hard. Good Luck

I had the Dunlop sp5000's on my old TA and they hooked really well. When they are warm they stick pretty well. After a burnout they grabbed. Maybee because they were on a 3rd gen L98 but IMO it's a great tire for the $
I like my firehawk sz50s They hook good for a street tire, (without a drag radial at the least your not going to find a tire that will stick wot luanchs) and they are wearing good. Maybe consider 315s on the rear that would give you a little more traction.
