Need rims and tires quick...
Need rims and tires quick... My back tires have been getting pretty slick the last few months, but I've been saving up for some new rims and didn't want to spend the money on new tires that wouldn't fit the rims I was getting. For the last 3 weeks I've had to put air in the right rear about once or twice a week. Tonight I started hearing a strange noise, so I pulled into a gas station and the tire was flat, they had an air pump so I tried to air it up, but it wouldn't hold. 
I don't have my spair in the car and I had to drive about 10 minutes back home. Scratched the rim pretty bad in a few places. It was that or leave my car at the EZ-Mart for someone to mess with. 
I've been saving up for some z06's, I guess its time I go ahead and get them. I want the 17x9.5 fronts and the 18x10.5 rears chrome with the best stagger for an F-body. I know your supposed to get as close to 50 as you can, but I don't know what that would be....maybe 54?
I was wonding if Todd or someone could hook me up with some rims and tires. I'm not sure if I even have enough money to get a full set of tires. I may have to reuse the ones that are on the front of the car now. They have about 18,000 miles on them.
Oh-yeah, before anyone says "why didn't you rotate your tires a long time ago?" Last summer I planned on just having fun with the ones that are on there and get some drag radials when they wore out. Well...I ran into some money trouble and just the last few months I've been able to save some. I was hoping the tires I had would last till after Christmas when I could get the new rims too.

My rims will be comming in next week hopefully from t-byrne. Chrome zo6, 18x10.5 w/ 53mm offset for the rears and 18x9.5 w/ 50mm offset for the front. My tires are kumho mx, 295/3518's for the rear and 275/3518 for the front. Hope that helps you.

I spent $932 dollars for my tires to my door to Hawaii. $1,282 for z06 rims form t-byrne. You will probly spend less than that cause shipping to hawaii is crazy. spent about $250 dollars on shipping. Hope that helps. get the z06 from t-byrne and they will price match it too. Tires got them from tire warehouse, great service. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I have emailed them about getting the same setup. Does anyone know if there are any problems with the 295/35-18's? I'm trying to get the rims with the 53mm offset.
