Tire options It's time for a new set of tires for the goat. The biggest I can go in the rear without fender rolling or spacing is 245/40 I believe. I need something for the rear that'll hook up with 450 rwhp/tq since a cam and ported heads are going on in the next few months. I also don't want the tires bald in 5k miles so a D.O.T radial is out and probably not necessary in the first place. Here's some of the tires I've been looking at:
1. Bridgestone Potenza REO50A Pole Positions
2. Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1's
3. Nitto NT05's
The fronts will be either the bridgestones or dunlops. Just not sure about the rears yet. I'll be running 245/40 18's in the rear and 235/40 18's in the front. Thoughts and opinions?
