Those pics are exactly what I needed.
I am trying to get a few problems resolved with iForged about my front wheels. They built mine with a completely different backspacing and offset and wasn't anything close to what I ordered/wanted. After waiting 17 weeks for the wheels last spring (with the car on jack stands for 6 weeks because I sold my TT2s because iForged swore they would be here 6 weeks before they actually showed up) the wheels were built wrong.
They wanted me to send them back and have new ones made. I did not want to go all summer without wheels and no car so I asked if I could wait until I put the car away for the winter before I sent them back and they said it would not be a problem. Now I am under the impression all they are going to do is re hoop them to give me an additional .5" lip but the whole wheel actually needs to be rebuilt because of the way they made the center section. The mounting pad is 1" thicker than what I ordered and it cant be milled down because of the depth of the the lug holes.
I ordered the wheels so they fronts would have a 3" lip with the offset and back spacing I wanted. The whole center was supposed to be inset 1" and the wheel was supposed to come out to the edge of the wheel well .5" from what it is now, with a 1.5" lip, to give me a total of 3" lip on the front. The lug holes are extremely deep and even with the long lugs they do not come out as far as the short lugs do on the back. It makes it look like 2 totally different wheels. It looks like a front wheel drive wheel on the front a a rear wheel drive wheel on the back
I was pushing the limits on all my measurements but I was going for a certain look and I had done so much research and measuring with the rear wheels (18x11.5 to run a 335 tire) I wanted the front wheel to have the same look.
I did a lot of work to get them right and they didn't build them to my specs and now they do not want to fix the problem like they said they would.
I wish I could get my pics up so you could see what I was talking about but since installing (Microsoft XP Pro.) I can't get any of my pics to upload to my webpage and can't down load pics from my digital camera. I am waiting for my brother to come to to see if he can figure out what is going on.
