snow tires

got a chance of getting some cheap snow tires but the size is 205 55 16 will they fit

on which car? I'm pretty sure they fit the wheels that come on Fbody's....if your in a Goat I dunno though..

98 trans am with 16in wheels i was worred about the 205 i got 245 on her now

Im pretty sure they would still work. But I think its at its limit. I have seen 215's 235's 245's etc...... the important part is they were made for a 16inch rim....our wheels are pretty forgiving...

I had a set of 225/55/16 Yokohama's on 16x8 rims on my '96 Z-28 for a while. That size was "approved" for an 8" rim, and is the same OD as the 245/50/16.

A 205/55? That may be a tad narrow for an 8" rim.....
