Broken stud need help!
Broken stud need help! I swapped wheels a few weeks ago and accidentally cross threaded a lug and trying to reverse it I snapped off a wheel stud driver side rear. I bought a new one from Autozone so my question is, what's all involved in putting this new one on?

you have to pull off the rotor and pound it out slide the new on in from the rear and take the lugnut and thread it on and tighten but not all the way cause the stud will be longer then the nut unless openended remove put on the rotor and the wheel and fully tighten and torque

if you have Rear abs then its a little harder than that. you can either A. get a grinder and grind down one side of the back of the stud so that it will clear the ABS ring and then grind down the new one the same way to put it in. or B pull the axle out and press off the ABS ring and then repress it on when you are done.
