if your going for an 8in slick you can fit a 15 in rim but a 5.5 backspacing is recommended, if your looking for a 15x10 you'll need a 7.5 backspacing. up front most people usually run a 15x3.5 or a 15x4 with a 1.75 backspacing. hope it helps

With a 275/50-15 being 26" tall, but having the same section width of a 275/60-15 (28) tire, it really balloons the sidewall out a lot more, thus providing you with lesser of a contact patch than you should have with the tire mounted on a more fitting rim. It can be done, but that tire is best fitted on a 10" rim.

With Weld Prostars, you have to grind the face of the calipar a bit, and use a spacer. Or you could grind a lot and not use a spacer. Or you could use Welds R/T wheels and use your stock brakes with no grinding or spacers, or you could buy drag brakes and use Weld Prostars with no grinding or spacers. Lol.

Agreed, 15x10's. You can buy mine:

I'm going to a 9" and narrowing a little, so this offset won't work for me anymore. If you're running a stock width rear end, the pair I'm selling will work for you. Good luck with whatever route you choose.

I asked this same question in the drag racing section (8" vs. 10" wide wheel). It has some really good info on there about the different widths of wheels and different tire sizes, you should go check it out real quick.
