ZR1 Wheels on third gen

ZR1 Wheels on third gen I just got some Zr1 wheels 17x9.5 all around.. yesterday when I tried putting them into my 1985 trans am.. the wheels didnt fit in the back because of the bump stop.. I shaved off the bump stop and they still dont fit.. do I need to use spacers? or how do I make them fit? Thanks in Advance.. tires are 275/40/17

What ZR1s are they? If they are the normal reproduction ZR1s that everyone runs you will need to run 2 inch spacers all the way around because they are 4th gen and C4/C5 spec wheels. They look like this: http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com...s/5035-d-c.JPG
SLP made a run of "ZR1" wheels specifically for 3rd gens that should bolt up no problem. They look like this: http://pi.b5z.net/i/u/509876/i/81001-1small_ezr.jpg
Note the SLP versions have sharper, more square spokes than the original design. Plus they have a larger lip as well.
