Opinions on this setup (NT's) I was gonna do NT01's in the front (275/35 ZR18) and NT05's in the back (285/35 ZR18).. I like these tires because they will have a little more grip than my OLD GS-D3's, lower price, and lower treadwear rating so I will HOPEFULLY get a full life out of these tires. My GS-D3's now are 4 years old, and hardly worn in the front but ROCK HARD dried out! . I don't drive in the rain, unless I get stuck. These will be the street tires.
Ideas? Comments? Suggestions? NT01's all around??
I think the NT01's are a 200 TWR tire, so they should last me a little bit. I need these to hook up so I don't slide all over the streets, but also last a couple years on a car that gets driven about twice a month.

The NT01 has a treadwear rating of 100.
The NT05 has a treadwear rating of 200.
The NT01 is a DOT approved competition tire that comes with a 6/32" tread depth.
The NT05 is their max performance Summer tire.
Depending on how much driving you do, you could go with either one, but I'd run the same tires all around.

Get the NT05 if its for street use - you will not regret it. The NT01 is a track tire and will wear out a lot faster. I have the NT05s on my Z06 and traction levels are MONSTROUS compared to the OEM Eagle F1 runcraps. They are a LOT quieter too. I got 335/30/19 R and 285/35/18 F - I'm in love with these tires.

Awesome! This car slides enough as it is.. I never get on it all the way because it's broken loose @ 60 before and that's a pucker factor anyway. Almost tagged a beat up LT1 TA that was messin with me once, downshifted to third, nailed it and I saw his pass mirror getting closer. My passenger wanted a ride in it.. 
Ok. I think I scared him pretty good. From then on, he was afraid of my car.I take the car out about once or twice a month during the season. > Summer, it's once a week for the shows on Saturday.
