Default wheel adapter+ drag radials?

ok, if been running wheel spacers for over a year now

this style...


they've been good so far, but im wanting to put on some et streets or nittos and want to see how they'll hold up, ive been to the track with em on street tires and they didnt say anything

the spacers are 1.5" t6 aluminum with grade 8 studs, my rear is a 12 bolt with moser studs

called a place that specilized in these and he said itll take anything you can throw at it "cuz mine are made in the USA" lol... i dont remember where mine are from, but im pretty sure t6 aluminum doesnt aquire different properties if made in china lol (pretty sure mine are from usa though)

Serious off-road guys put more stresses on the wheel/hub interface than any street car thanks to torque multiplication from deep gearing and tire/wheel packages that can weigh over 150lbs each, and have been using these bolt-on spacers for years. Check the torque every now and then and you're good!

I'm guessing you got a great deal on your narrowed rear axle, but wanted to use the same wheels you had? 3" is more than just a little "adjustment" in where the wheel sits..

haha, finally someone who understands me lol... $1000 for a 3rd gen moser 12 bolt with 33 spline axles, eaton HD posi, 1350 yoke, and 4.11 gears AND the guy threw in a steel driveshaft with new u joints

I've run nittos with spacers when I had my thirdgen. about 375hp at the tires, but I never ran them at the track. I've heard old timers telling horror stories of spacers breaking at the track, but I don't know. I run them on my '98, but only with street tires. Personally, it's just twice as many studs to worry about.

My car doesn't see the track that often but I've never had a problem with my 1'' adapters and ET Streets....car only makes about 400 to the wheels though.
