Question C6 Wheels on 2000 Z28

Hey guys, I have a set of C6 wheels I want to put on my 2000 Z28 but don't know what kind of spacers / adjustment kit I will need.

The wheels are front 18x9.5 and rear 19x10.5

Does anyone know where I can find the spacers to make them fit my car? I called Tire Rack and all they could tell me to do was google it.

This company sells the wheels and when I asked for what kind of spacers or kit I would need they said they didn't know. They sell the wheels, but, can't help me make them fit my car - http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Camaro-Wh...02183-3-1.html

Can anyone help me?

If they're the 19" rear wheels, you will need a 1.25" spacer but the 18s up front will fit fine. I'm not sure you can hammer out enough room to fit the 19s in the back but im pretty sure most just use the spacer. Good luck mang!
PS-Ebay has the spacers for 60 bucks a pair.

Thanks boss. I appreciate the info here...

I will check Ebay out and see if I can't find a pair of the spacers. So you think I will, even with the spacers, still have to cut out space in the wheel well of the rear?

Thanks again man,

Joseph

i've ran OEM C6 wheels on 2 different 4th gens. both times i used 1.25" billet adapters in the rear with NO other modifications. if you have someone in the back seat or hit a large bump on the highway, you WILL rub the outer sidewall on the 1/4 panel lip. a fender roller will solve this. I had BMR lowering springs all the way around with very large and heavy stereo in the trunk on my 95 Z and i had to switch to factory springs in the rear cause the rubbing was becoming a common problem. stock height in the rear will rub, but not too often. good luck man

Good advice here man and I appreciate it.

You mentioned that you had to put factory springs in the back to get rid of the rubbing. I have Eibach springs all the way around so I would assume they will make the rubbing a problem in the back like you experienced.

Hhhmmm, maybe I can just run them with spacers, see how it all adds up and go from there. I hate to put wheels in there that rub but they sure do look great as a wheel for the 4th gens in my opinion.

I'll check your F-Quick site out.

Thanks again,

Joseph
