Need MT drag radial advice
Need MT drag radial advice I've been looking for a set of drag radials for my car to accompany my Yank 3600ss. I've been trying to hold off until I get new wheels to replace the stock ones, but seeing as though my car is getting a street tune on Saturday, I want something better than the bald and cracked street tires I have now.
Anyways, I located a local guy that has a set of ET Streets already mounted on stock T/A wheels. According to him, they aren't to the wear bar yet and have approximately 50-60% tread left. He said he would take $225 for them. I'm thinking something like $200 may be more reasonable.
Would that be a decent deal? How long should I expect these to last? Car isn't a daily driver. I've got no experience with drag radials, but I've been reading and hearing that Mickey Thompson is the way to go.

Are they ET Streets or ET Street radials. The radials can get between 2k-3k miles on them the regular ET Street wont get near that. I would say offer 200 the worst he could say is no but even at 225 if they have half the tread left its a good deal
