Will 315s really make a difference in traction?
Will 315s really make a difference in traction? I am having a hell of a time putting my 530rwhp to the ground through my 275 Nittos. So I am considering upgrading to 17x11 rims and getting some 315 Nittos on there. I have heard conflicting stories on whether the wider tire will really give me much added traction to make it worth it.

I have them on 17x11`s. To answer your question-yes. They are better than your stock size tires. Now for the second part of the answer. NO! They are not enough for 530rwhp. I know this. My E/T streets have a hard time with 549rwhp!!! I love them, now M/T is selling a new Radial Street tire like nitto`s. I`m going to see if they have the same size 315`s if so I might try them!!
