backspacing question.

Default backspacing question.
ok set of wheels on CL with slicks. He says they are 9" with either a 4 or 4.5" BS and a 28" slick. Will these work or do I need spacers?

For a 9" rim you would need about a 6.5" backspacing. With a 4.5" backspacing the tire will stick out about 2 inches

stock is 7.5 b.s., a 6.5 will fit also. A 4 or 4.5 is for a much narrower rear end.
