Chrome SS 10 Spokes Peiling....
Chrome SS 10 Spokes Peiling.... I have a 00 SS that came with the chrome 10 spokes. I love these wheels but they are peiling so bad its almost embarrasing. I was wanting to know if these are still available somewhere or if its reasonable to have them rechromed. I've been tossing the idea around of getting a set of 17x9.5-17x11 chrome zr1's instead but I just like these too much to trash. I've looked at slp's site and I can't find them anymore. I know they use to sell them. There isn't anyone local that does chroming so I'm lost as what to do? Thanks for any input.
if you've got the money to spend and still want to retain the mostly stock look with the 10 spokes, send em off to get the rears widened to 11" and get them all re-chromed, maybe even get em powder coated.
Yeah, I'd like to keep them but if I can pick up those zr1's and a set of tires for about the same price I may just do that. I have a set of 17x11-17x9.5 TT2's actually on the car now but I've just gotten tired of them. Everyone has them, and mustangs come with the damn things from the factory. Oh well. Where could I go to have them widened? Wouldn't the backspacing be screwed up?
