Which tires to get?
Which tires to get? I have 295/35/18 BF Goodrich G-Force TA KDW II in the rear and I'm looking to get drag radials. I haven't upgraded the rear end yet but I will be before I do any launches on the DR's. I have a slight tire rub under hard cornering so I was looking at maybe Nitto's since I've heard the run a little narrower, but the only Nitto's I can find in 295/35/18 are the NT05's. Since they run narrower would a 305/35/18 be about equal to my BFG's? In 305's I could get either NT555R's or NT555RII's. Anyways what would you guys recommend? Thanks.
You wanting a DR that you can DD, or one geared mainly for track use? I ran the 555R as a DD for a while and never really had a problem with it., however they didn't hook very well at the track. Got a set of the Toyo TQ's that I'm about to try out for this car. I would run the 555R's in the 305 if it were me or maybe step it up to a 315 and try out the Toyo's?
Well its my DD for now but won't be when I get the DRs. I'm fixing my DD so after that it'll be my nice weather/track car. Probably more street than track but mainly looking for something that'll grip at the track
