rally's on a 4th gen!?!?

rally's on a 4th gen!?!? ok a guy I work with has a 00 black Z basic mods exhaust, filter, etc nothing major, older guy 50's. He admires the rims on my truck 
and was asking if some chrome would look good on his car. Of course I told him hell yeah man throw a set on, what are you looking for? He said an old school look maybe some cragars or rally's. Im like oh c'mon man everybodys got cragars or TTII's and rallys would look... like... ****... wait a mintue Ive seen some larger diameter rallys somewhere before and they looked pretty nasty.
What do you y'all think, maybe some chrome 18" rallys on the 00 Z?
These are the only 2 good pics I could find of some large diameter rallys and I think they look damn good... hard to tell on a 4th gen though, anyone ever seen one??
