Question hubcentric wheel adapters

I'm considering to get H&R hubcentric wheel adapters on my Z28 with stock 16X8 5 star wheels. I want to have the edge of the wheel sit closer to the fender especially in the rear.

Questions:
1. If you have pics of wheel adapers (or spacers) on stock 16X8 wheels, please post them and include the size.
2. What's the largest size I should go to avoid rubbing on the fender (for both front and rear)? I've heard that 3/4" is the max for the front and 1" is the max for the rear to ensure no rubbing. Keep in mind i'm at stock ride height and plan to stay there.

Thanks.

H&R 1" hub spacers on the rear w/factory GS-C tires, which run wide so you should be good running the H&R 30mm hub spacers if you have a narrow 245 tires.
IMO, get the rear first and try one up front to get a better idea what size you want to use up front, also go ahead and roll the rear fender lips if you want the wheel pushed out as much as possible, mine are rolled and would have rubbed if the fender lips weren't rolled.

So the 1" adapters would have caused rubbing in the rear with stock fenders? Can you show pics of what you mean by rolling the fender?

Thanks,

If your current tires don't stick out past the wheel lip like those do (around 1") then you don't need to worry about rolling the rear fender lips up. From this __l , to this U .

Here you can see that the rear fender lip rolled.

old shot of 1" spacers on mine. Stock rims with 255/50's. I rolled the fender lips just to be safe. I never used spacers on the front.
