Attack of the dryrot tires! I have a stock 99 WS6, took it out for a boot on the highway and came home to find one of the tires completely flat. I immediately went to the gas stn, filled it up. When I got home all I could hear was an air escaping hiss. Turns out one of the dry rot cracks went thru the rubber. Couple of questions:
How long do tires generally speaking last?
What are the best replacement tires? Im thinking the GY GS-D3
I was doing almost 90mph on the highway minutes before so Im kinda glad I didnt have any issues, i think I may stick to regular roads until i get all 4 replaced

Really depends on the storage and use conditions. If those are the original stock tires, then I would definitely change them. Not worth your life for the cost of 4 tires.

Thats the thing, the car has roughly 32/33k miles, has been always stored and even the past few years Ive coated them in Meguires rubber cleaner/conditioner. I guess at that point they were too far gone. I had seen a "My Classic Car" a while back with a guy that had original rubber from somewhere in the 70s lol. Was hoping for the same for the TA, but I won't take any chances with safety
Regardless of mileage, ditch those tires, asap!
Even if you put very little mileage on you tires, after 5yrs I'd change them, regardless of which brand you buy.
