Just wheels or wheels and tires?

If just wheels, ship USPS. Very inexpensive if you ship in 4 boxes.

If wheels and tires, fedex. Cut out cardboard circles and put on the face of each wheel and wrap them up with a **** ton of saran wrap.

4 individual boxes? What size are the boxes you're using for shipping?

From what Johnny59 said is you can actually ship stuff via Grayhound and I think there actually cheaper than UPS/Fedex.

Hmm. Sure enough, I just put those numbers in and it does cost quite a bit. From Wisconsin to California it was a little over $120 total. I used similar boxes to ship wheels that were 22 pounds to puerto rico and it was $17 a box for a total of roughly $70...hmm

Problem with Fed Ex is that they don't offer full-value protection, or simply put, no insurance, only "declared value" which is $100 no matter what you ship. Fed Ex will gladly charge you an "insurance" fee though. F**king crooks.

I finally see why so many wheel/big item sellers would rather keep things local...

Damn, thats not bad. Im trying to ship a magnaflow catback, to a member in Cali and they want $150.. It wont fit in a box so im just gonna bubble wrap the whole thing and send it.

To the OP, i bought rims/tires off a member and the way it was sent was just like how one of the members mentioned. just put strong cardboard on the rims, and wrap them. The guy i bought the wheels/tires off sent all 4 wheels just like that.
