Thats one hell of a story! I've never had any issues with my AFS rims, **** happens and thats fine, but if the guy on the website is telling the story truthfully, the way the owner of AFS handled the situation does not seem to be fine.

Not sure what to think now. On one hand, the owner is still super flakey. On the other hand, the buyer of the wheels appears to be flakey as well!

hrmm. And i was just about ready to bid and get me some $600 zr-1's.
lol. sounded too good to be true. They are made in korea. Maybe they should go on kia's or whatever is made over there.
there's another company on ebay that sells "non-afs" , "camaro zr1 11" replica's. I might have to see if they warrant them at all. Bout the same price buy it not $570 for black 17x9.5/17x11 pattern.
you guys need to search cz28 for the post about that in the lounge. also check out the buyers feedback in the cz28 post. hes had 8 negatives out of the past 14 auctions and i feel hes tryin to scam here also. AFS offered him a refund but he didnt take it.

Weird, but this almost seems like the JASON that was banned from LS1.com about 3 years ago for scamming so many people. I think he was from central Florida somewhere between Daytona and Orlando. He was scamming alot of people with wheel sells back then. Had all the super sleuths trying to hunt him down. Seems like a couple of people even tracked him to his house but don't remember what came of it.
Any mention of where this AFS customer "Jason Jackson" is from? FL?
I also saw something a while back on another board (can't recall which one) about some guy that was scamming alot of people and I remember his name being Jason and that he WAS from Florida.

Ran AFS wheels on cars for YEARS. Never had issue. I've owned 5 sets or the past 10 years.
Probably know of 20 sets out there without a single issue.
Only internet issue I've ever seen was over cosmetic differences.

This dude is a scammer. Read the whole thread to get the other
side of the story. Just look at the dudes ebay rating. He had

I won a set of AFS wheels on ebay, and the transaction was one of the smoothest I've ever been involved with. One of the wheels was even damaged due to shipping (dropped box) and had a bent lip. I was stuck without wheels (sold my previous wheels) and went ahead and mounted them to get the car rolling again. Called AFS the next day and they sent me another one out to replace it, and paid for shipping on the one I returned. No problems there, I was happy.
