widest track tire i am in to autocrossing and i am going to be getting wheels soon.
the stockers i am going to keep for autocrossing track tire.
right now the car has kumho asx 245/50-16 .... with any track type, R compound, slick, ect. what is the safest max width tire i can run on stock 16x8 wheels and still go through corners fast?

if you're into autocrossing ditch the narrow 16's... they don't make good performance tires in those sizes, plus wayyy too much sidewall. do a 17x11 all around, or even 17x9.5.
