Drag wheel/tire sizes
Drag wheel/tire sizes Ok, I've searched and searched and searched.. But can't quite find exactly what I'm looking for.
99- trans am is the car.
9" with 4.11's
Car is a 6speed
I want a set of drag wheels and tires. Skinnies up front.
I want the rear filled up. I have 295/35/18's now in the rear and they fit well. So would a 295 slick fit the same on a 15" wheel? Just confused on tire size, and wheel size for both front and rear. And what would the correct backspacing be?
I wanna order these tomorrow!

Look into the Weld RTS series, Billet Specialties Streetlites or Race Star Industries. With the Weld RTS' you don't have to grind the calipers which is a big plus for some people.
Backspacing for the fronts will depend on what company you choose and what size, either 15x3.5 or 15x4. Go with a 15x10 with 7.5" of backspacing for the rear.

Billet Specialties makes one for the FBody now.......costs and extra $100 dollars though! I would just grind down my calipers!
