Tire seperation
Tire seperation So I am running a set of cheepo depot 165 r15 tires on the front of my 4th gen with a 9" rear and spool, with 275 drag radials.
My question is does anyone have any problems with front tire seperation? My front tires were nearly new and one of them split apart and blew today

Considering they aren't rated to carry the weight of a 4th gen this doesn't surprise me.
Mickey Thompson makes a front runner with a 8 ply rating that can handle it. Many guys are running them without issue, myself included

they have been on my car for about three years but it's not a daily driver. I know a lot of guys here local that have been running them for 10+ years without an issue
