2000 ws6 rare wheels

looking for some info , i found a black 2000 ws6 with an odd looking set of factory wheels , they are not 5 spoke they are a directional 3 spoke sorta , they are polished , they are factory , the car is a 1 owner with 40,000 .it needs a fender and hood from a minor accident . is this a special car and what is it worth ? i have a chance to buy it ? i have pics of the wheels and car .

That sounds like the rare tri-fan design wheels. I have only seen pictures of them. The V6 T/A's came with a similar looking wheel, although it was painted not polished.

it kind of sounds to me like the 93-94 firebird wheels. are they 16 or 17 inch

these are 17 in . the owner said they were factory .i dont really know how to post pics .

Yea there factory i have only seen like 3 cars with them on it. Theres a red 00 Ta on autotrader right now that have some on it.

Yes, those wheels came out briefly in 2000 and were soon replaced. Personally I think they are pretty raunchy, but to each his own.

For sure its pretty rare!

The reason they were rare is because they are ugly as sin. GM discountinued them and then started offering the Firehawk looking 5 spoke.

Like they said they are rare because the wheels were ugly, and no the car is not special, in fact it is deprived. Its like the first soldiers who went into Vietnam carrying shitty m-1's and died because of them, compared to the later use of the M-16 and AR-15 which werent the best weapons but they got the job done.
