I have a stock Z, I have to get new back tires because the stupid *** 235-60-16 that are on it suck ***! Would NT555R be a good choice and would it help me in the 1/4?

And how long is the tread life on this tire?

I drove my Nittos on the street for a while and I think I could have got 15 - 20k miles out of them if I kept them on. Only problem I had was 2 flats; not sure if this was coincidence or if it related to them being so much softer than most tires.

Yes, they should definitely help you in the 1/4 if you heat them up.
