Im going to give these a try on a stock GTO wheel (17x8"). These are only for the street--I have drag only wheels and tires--but Im looking for something that will stick a bit better for a daily driver.
Id like to go with the 275 but thats wide for a 8" rim and they may possibly rub.
The 255 will fit the rim fine but are actually a bit shorter tire.
Which would be the better choice?

I run the 275's and 285's on my 9.5" wide wheels. I would stick with the 255's for an 8" rim. these tires arent drag tires so no need to jam wide tires on small wheels.

Yeah I think Im going to go with the 255's.
