Default 335/35/17

Is it safe to put these on a 10.5" rim?? I have seen a few people on here that have that setup but the sticky says the biggest that will fit on a 10.5" is a 315. If it is safe to put a 335 on a 10.5", I'm at stock height 2000 Trans AM, would I have to BFH my wheel wells or would I have no issues. I know I won't have any issues with a 315 ( atleast thats what everyone on here says). Let me know!

For a 335 you will have to BFH and more then likely roll the fenders. They might work on a 10.5" depending on brand but I would go with at least and 11"

Check Discount Tire Direct. I just bought 2 Nitto NT05R's from them in the 315/35/17 size.

They also have the BFG original tread drag radials in the 315/35/17 size for $198 per tire

Depending on your power output I would just go with the nitto 315's. Cheap compares to the 335's I think and they will work great on a 10.5

Just a full bolt on car with TD's, nothing special. Have not dyno tuned yet so don't know what I'm pushing.

Nope . . 315's would be your friend on a 10.5" wheel.

I've had 315's on my factory 17 x 9's for 9 years.....they work great and wear perfectly.

A 325 is perfectly fine for a 10" rim.

I'm putting 325's on 18 x 10.5's..............

the 315's will look awesome, especially if you're used to seeing skinny stock tires back there.....i have Kumho V700 335's on 17x11 50mm offset silver ZR1's and the tread width hangs over the rim lip on each side a little....it would be even worse on a 10.5 rim.......the 335's are cool and everything, but i'm looking forward to going back to a 315......i didn't roll my fenders and it rubs slightly when i hit bumps, if i had bought the 38mm ZR1's there would be serious ripples in my fenders now.......when i had Nitto 555R 315's on the same rims, there was no fender rubbing whatsoever......i think WS6store has some pretty good tire prices

Im currently running a 315 on my 17x11s I would go with at least an 11 in. wide rim 10.5 is stretching it for a 335. like this guy did
