Default is the stiff sidewall slick really better????

fixing to order my et drags 28x10x15 are the stiff sidewall versions really better for a manual transmission. not going to take mickey T's advice, i want to get a response from first hand experience. i know of manuals on regular sidewall slick pulling mid 1.4 60''s wheres the benefit

Why would a stiff sidewall be better just manual trans cars? A stiff sidewall won't absorb shock as much, I wouldn't think. Stiff sidewalls are needed for autoX racing, right?

Rodney I would think that a softer side wall would be better for manuals that way they can give a little bit, so that dont wanna slip launching and changing gears. I may be wrong though.
