Default stripping stock wheels

I have a set of stock z wheels for my 99. There messed up though, the original owner tried to have them chromed and it was a crappy job. Now its peeling and pitted. What's the cheapest way to strip them down and have them painted or coated?

You'll need to use aircraft grade paint stripper. I know that some guys have used it to strip down 10 spoke SS's and polish them into 35th ann. wheels. You can find it at hardware stores.

The aircraft paint stripper is commonly used to remove the peeling factory clearcoat from our wheels. I almost used it on my original WS6 wheels.
