Default NTO5r's on the street?

I was thinking about getting tires before the cam if I get them cheap enough! I found NTO5r's for 245$ and was wondering if anyone has used them for street and track? I drove about 3400 miles this summer and 4 trips to the track.... If I can get 2 or 3 summers out of them I might get them. My BFG drag radails lasted about 15k before they were completly shot. They would only be on the car for the summer. Thanks

I like them.. had 2 sets of Nitto 555r's before hand that sucked. I could tell an immediate difference in the first 2 miles leaving the tire shop. They worked well enough on the track that I snapped my driveshaft from actually getting traction.

Ive tried just about every drag radial out at one time or another now I have the NT05RS on my street wheels and I put them up near the MT ET Street. I liked the 555Rs too but the NT05RS are even better.

I have less than 500 miles on them. I put them on right before I left for deployment. There was an article awhile back about LS1tech member "LS2bait" and he tried NT05R tires in 275 width vs MT DR's in 315 width and beat them at every test iirc. It was in GMHTP magazine I believe.
