Good tire?

Good tire? I was just wondering if anyone has run a set of the BFG G-Force KD in a 315-35-17 on their car? i was thinking about it because i drove a friends Z with 245's and even that seemed to hook better than my 275 F1's. But the are pricey, so it would be an investment, GOOD OR BAD?

The G-force T/A KD is a FAR superior tire to the F1 no matter the size. So, if you decide to run a 315 you will not regret it. They are costly but well worth it, as long as you're planning on running the tire to it's limits.
Now, if you're thinking of using them strictly for a drag tire I probably wouldn't say the same. That's only because there are plenty of good drag radials out there and many cost less than BFG KDs. If you're looking to run hard and still "hook" in the corners, etc... than by all means go for it! (just be a wise shopper and you can find them for a fair price).

Well I'm not exactly sure what a fair price on 315s would be right now but a little searching the net will probably tell you (that and/or ask Todd@DTD).

The BFG KD's are good tires for dry weather and to traction, but they suck in the rain. Also when my tires dropped below 50% tread they went to ****, I couldn't hook for nothing without getting them real hot. You can't really get on them in the rain because you will spin. Just my experience with the tires. I also had the 315 size tire.

Sorry I must have missed the originally posted question but I got mine (blems)off of Ebay from a place called the Wheel Exchange. Not a damned thing wrong with them and they were at my house 1.5 days after the transaction (payment) was complete.
As for the KDs not being good in the rain,.. that is because they are a "dry traction" tire. If you need wet traction there is the KDW and then the KDWS (all season?).
