Default Two-Tone Speedlines? Thoughts?

The clear coat needs to be redone on my wheels so I've been kicking around the idea of some custom paint work to set them apart from the factory Speedlines. 30 seconds with photoshop gave me a basic plan, and some electrical tape to simulate the look gave me what I was looking for.

The way I see it, if I get tired of the look down the road, I can just strip the paint and re-polish the wheels, but I'll get a different look for now....

Not feeling it either. The Speedlines aren't that bad looking of a rim as is so no need to modify em, and that look isn't really greatly improving em in my eyes. I'd be afraid it'd come off more tacky rather than coolio modified. Doesn't look horrible by any means, it's just I couldn't personally do it for the simple fact that I"d be be posing to have a split five star when I really didn't, I hate anything that's poser/faux.

Not really digging it. I'd say Plasti-Dip the entire wheel or the entire wheel minus the lips.
