Default Tire size on 17X9's

I was wondering if 275/40's will still fit fine or be too large for 17x9 wheels. I found the wheels I want but they don't come in 17x9.5 just 17x9. Would there be any problems with fitment or performance? thanks

275 is the largest one should use on 9", so you're fine.
