RPO code N73 pics first post so here goes. rpo code is n73 states wheel,custom sport magnesium whl (n73). second line below states wheel,custom sport painted al whl (n73). i got codes from comp nine. the vehicle is a 2000 ss with chrome zr1 style wheels. did the 2000 ss come stock w/ the chrome zr1's and if so why does the second rpo code say "painted". thanks. yes i am a newbie

In 2000, the only wheel from GM available on a SS, was the silver 10 spoke rim. The chrome ZR1 wheels were offered as an option thru SLP, and showed up on the SLP second sticker like any other SLP option would have. Your car would still show a RPO code for the stock silver painted 10 spoke wheel on the GM code sticker, even if was optioned with the chrome wheels.
