Street Tire Choice

Street Tire Choice I want a good street tire that isnt too expensive. It might see the track twice a year, but i want to be able to hook up on the street. I was looking at the sumitomo HTr II and the Kuhmo MX. the sumitomo is cheaper, and ive heard good things about it, but the kuhmos are also good too. These will be mounted on the 17 inch z06 rims i just bought. Any input will be appreciated.

bfgoodrich t/a kdw's great wet and dry traction, i've used these this winter (in northern va), and im honestly debating if im even going to switch back to my nittos for the summer they hook up that well. 17 inch kdw's run around 130-145 depending on where you purchase them. 150ish if you want 275's.

I have BFG KDW 275/40 17 on the car now and have had some Nitto 450NT 245/50 16 on the car as well. I noticed with the KDWs once you warm them you can really hook and they are great in cornering, I like to take some of the turns pretty fast. The Nitto 450s seem to lose there grip a little easire but make a nice chirp sound from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd (in my A4). But the KDWs are better IMO. Also my KDWs are down to that low tire marker between the treads and my Nittos are pretty much new.
Any want these Nittos let me know, I bought them for the rims to put Blizzaks on for the winter.
