Wheel Questions
I am in dire need of new wheels, right now I have the stock 98-00 Trans Am ABS centercap aluminum wheels and they arent cutting it for me.
I am pretty poor though (college kid, small budget) so I have about 600 dollars to spend on a set. I have found some on ebay that would look nice I think.

(tell me what you guys think)
My stock wheels are 16x8 I have 245, eagle f1s on the front and rear and was wondering if only 16x8 would fit it or if I could up a size in wheel while keeping the same tires. If you guys have any other suggestions for a set of wheels please tell me! I have a 99 NBM trans am!

those wheels are DISGUSTING.
are you asking if you can go from a 16" wheel to a 17" wheel with the same tires? if so, then NO.
if you watch the For Sale section for a week you will see at least 10 people selling wheels some with and without tires for a good price.

I would rather have something a little more flashy, something that stands out a bit more. I don't want 20's or anything. Just a nice design instead of something so plain.

Flashy is hard to do correctly on a budget. Keep looking, and don't just look on eBay and Craigslist. Look in your local Classifieds forum here on LS1Tech and see if there's any wheels for sale near you. Remember that shipping wheels and tires is an added expense so local is better if possible.
I couldn't have gotten luckier with my wheel purchase, I was at the dragstrip one night and some guy just comes up to me and asks if I was looking to buy wheels (I was still on stock 16" snowflakes, ugh) and I said yeah. He said they were chrome ZR1s with 315 rears, I was like damn that's just what I wanted. The next day I was driving home with 4 wheels and tires jammed inside the Camaro.
So keep looking, and don't buy something you'll get tired of later.

Why would you want to put a 16x7 wheel on a Trans Am? Gross. Go to OE wheels, pick out a cheap, good looking set, and get 4 Sumitomos. If you could somehow increase your budget $200 more, you could have a brand new set of wheels and tires that aren't gross looking and wider than 8 inches. Just sell your stock wheels and tires and there's your extra $200.

Getting some half of the wheels for Christmas, and I am paying the rest. Has anyone ever heard of elites wholesale, idk if it's legit or not but has some nice wheels
