Polish or Powdercoat?

Polish or Powdercoat? I just bought a set of ZR1s and they are silver. My car is a black Z with the V6 Body kit. I cant decide whether to get my rims polished, or to get them powdercoated black with the machined lip. What are the pros and cons of both? How much do both of them cost? Thanks.

Polished wheels are a PIA from what I hear to keep looking 'polished' unless you are relentless about keeping them clean, and are not too lazy to put some elbow grease into them.
Plus, black wheels are just cool...

JonSS is right powdercoat will hold up way longer than polished will, if there done right. With a polished wheel, they're going to oxidize meaning turn like a yellow or beige color if it dosen't have a clear. With powdercoat, if the wheel is stripped, then blasted, the finished product will look good. For a aluminum 17x9.5 inch wheels we charge $85.00 per wheel. For 17x11 it's $95.00, and that comes with stripping, blasting, and giving it two coats with any color of your choice.
