OP, for what it's worth, I've owned a set of Fikse wheels (Profil 5) and now CCW 505a's. Granted, the Fikse wheels were C5 vette offset and had no lip, but in my opinion, CCW makes better wheels. Plus, you won't have to wait more than a couple weeks to get them.

Thanks Phoenix. I'm still keeping my options open. I'm wanting to make my car back into a street machine that I can take my daughter out on cruises with. Race track just isn't as important to me anymore.

I knowthis car will be in our family for the long haul, so it better be able to last.

if you are set on the 10, but really don't want to pay out that kind of coin or wait what seems to be 4+ months for most of the members on here, the CCW lm20 is a pretty similar design. this GTO is looks pretty sick with the painted centers too IMO

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...d-rearend.html

I didn't check cost of anything like that, but I do like that color combo a lot.

And here's the same rim all polished, but not installed on the guys car.

There are also a few other CCW wheels that look like the 10's. What I like about CCW wheels is they don't have a steeped lip.

In terms of quality or what? Ive never owned CCWs and am yet to see my Fikse first hand but from what I have read Fikse is the cream of the crop with quality and craftsmanship. No offense but those Fikse you owned were pretty lame. With the no lip I could see why you like your CCWs more. As far as stepped lips I think they look stupid on anything bigger than 17s, a rolled lip is needed for 18s+..

I don't get why everyone says a camaro can't have a 5+ spoke rim...I believe the Dick Harrel ZL1 f-body's have rims that have a lot of similarity to the LM20's. To the OP, get what rims you like since it's your car. And being slightly different isn't a bad thing either.

compared to the fikse you had yes i would hope ccws looked better lol, but fikse imo is top notch, its hard to compare fikse to ccw since they both make great wheels but i have seen each in person and i was more impressed by fikse. like i said its hard to say one is better than the other , i think your just happy your fikse are gone lol

Take this from a person who have owned both CCW and Fikse.

Fikse wheels are beautiful, they are like jewelry for your car.
Being that they are now in Canada it will take much longer to get to you.

They have to ship the wheels by boat and sometimes the Bering Strait is frozen
during the winter time so it takes like 10+ weeks maybe more to get them across by sled dogs.

lol, I was just checking to see if anyone actually reads these threads.

I was being sarcastic...Fikse wheels makes a beautiful product, but the people over there are really full of themselves and because of that they snubbed a lot of people and that's why they are not doing well. There customer service is basically non existant.

On the other hand,
CCW wheels makes a good wheel and has great customer service,
and they take care of their customers. They will sell replacement parts to their customers.

So in a nut shell:

Fikse, auto jewelry with crappy service.
Fikse wheels are also the lightest wheels I have come across.

CCW, a decent good wheel with excellent service.

Lol I was gonna say, if sled dogs were involved that would explain why its coming up on 5 months since I put my order in with Fikse. Honestly Danny was great and I hate to bash people on a forum but your right, their customer service is now non-existent. Ive gotten a lot of false promises over the past 2 months. On the 25th of this month itll be 5 months since I ordered. I was told the first week of February that they were finally all boxed up and ready to ship. I was told I would get a tracking number, well that didnt happen. Im crossing my fingers that they shipped but at this point I lost all hope and pretend I didnt spend $2500 on wheels along time ago. /end rant

Yeah you know something is not right when a guy
like me who bought 5 sets of their wheels is ribbing on them.

It's so bad nowadays that Alan the current head of sales doesn't even bother
trying to defend their lack of customer service.

The turn around time should never be more than 2 months, that's just crazy.

Im gonna call again tomorrow to plead for a tracking number again. Keeping my fingers crossed that they actually shipped this time. More times than I can count I was promised a call back with information and I ended up having to call them back before I can get something. I know their production recently moved into the new building finally but damn, its been too long..

You gotta make a thread about your cars. And I say "cars" because you always have so much exotic **** for sale I feel like either you get bored on your set ups every 6 months or have several F-bodys.
