Question about 555r width

I ordered a set of 305/35/18 555r's. Never had them before but I hear they run pretty narrow. Anyone confirm this? I have 295 street tires on my vette now and was hoping the DR would make it look a tad bit Beefier.

I think he is talking about Nittos
they tend to run narror and not true to size

It's been a while if I remember my Nitto 305's were wider than their 315's
go figure on that one.

I had 275 tires that were just as wide as a 255.

A 315 is 12.1" accross, which is like a 305.

Nittos tend to run a lot smaller in width.

The only ones I found that was about right was there 305
that's why I was saying that their 305/18 is actually wider than their 315/17
