Default Lug Nut Torque

I always buy my rims used and while in my search for used Draglites or Prostar Weld Racing rims I was surprised how many rims were buggered up from the lug nuts not being torqued down properly!

Anyone know the proper torque to install these rims with 1/2" ARP Studs?

I believe 100ft/lbs is perfect

I always just snug them up with a 1/2 breaker bar.

That's what I always do, 100 ft/lbs. Check them after driving for a while. I've always been under the impression, with aluminum wheels particularly, you should check them to make sure the lugs aren't backing off.

100 ft/lbs is correct, but i would bet that most of those messed up wheels were from people using the wrong lug nuts
