I tried searching but I'm a little limited on my cell at work. I was wondering when you get your rims widened, if the rims already have a lip on them are you able to widen the rims on the lip/outer side instead of the inside, creating a larger lip?

 

i have never seen it, and if ya did im sure there would be a big *** weld showing, with 3 p,forged wheels you can just take out the centers and order new hoops

It's been done on the outside of the wheel. Pretty impressive actually.
