Default Nt05R

What would be a good base to start from, when dialing in PSI for NT05R's ? Granted there are numerous variables involved for maximum results, so I will list some data that maybe of use in deciding what a good general PSI starting point might be. (75 deg, 285/40R/18, 421 whp, 4.10 gears, M6,LS1). I would appreciate any advice on this given...thanks. JD

I went to 22 on mine. 60 degrees, 315 35 17, 522 rwhp, 4.11 gear, 408 ls. I dropped down to 20, nothing really changed.

Thanks for the reply, had them put on today, for some reason they are actually shorter in height and sit inside the fender further in, than the stock 275/40/18. I was not too thrilled with the look. I figured the 285/40/18 nt05R'S would be taller and wider. Checked and re-checked the size...any ideas why ? My car looks like a lunar space buggy now with all the gap between fender and tire. Car is lowered on stock bolts now, two threads left. JD
