Spacers + ARP studs

Spacers + ARP studs
Alright, so I'm trying to accomplish two things.
One is to get the wheels I have to poke out a little further so the car doesn't look quite like it has a case of the "muffin top," and also to give a little more clearance on the hub so I can actually mill up a nice center cap blank as these were wheels designed originally for racing in mind (just like the CCW Classic Race wheels don't come with center caps).
I'm just tired of looking at the wheel hubs, even if I did spray them with silver caliper paint.
Wheels specs are:
17" x 9" +48mm w/ 275s
The wheel lip comes about one inch from being flush with the fender.
I'm thinking a 1/2" spacer front and rear will do well enough and might not need to run a fender roller.
Can I run the 1.5" length ARP wheel studs or will I have to go to the longer set?
Wheels in question:
