sane, streetable front runner tires...
sane, streetable front runner tires... Like the title implies, I need some tires for the skinnies on the front of my other car. I currently have two mismatched P165SR15's now that are shot. They are too short, hence why I am not going to buy that size again. I'm looking for something around 26" - 26.25" tall to fit a 15X3.5 rim. It also needs to be a sturdy enough tire to street drive, and be stable at triple digit speeds on my portly, (3700lbs +), car. I could have sworn there is such an animal as a P175SR15, or a 185, but no luck finding anything so far.

I've looked into those, and they are a bit too "race" only orientated for me. I need a stable radial tire for a heavy car that doesn't weight a ton. The front end feels loose enough w/o the front sway bar, I'm trying to keep it as streetable as possible.
