i doubt 3 inches is going to be possible but you might can come close, it depends on the wheel a TT2 will not hardly look deep dish at all since it has a extra roll on the lip, but another type of wheel might show more. i cant give you pics of my car to compare since i have a narrowed rear but I did take about 2.25 off each side and run a 5.5 backspace on 11 inch rim so I have about 5 inches of dish on my rims

17x10.5 TTMs have a close to 3" lip... If you want more, you'll have to increase the diameter and get a wheel with spokes that are convex and bend back towards the brakes giving the false impression that the wheel is truly deep dish... like RPM 505s for example

here ya go - mine are 19x8.5 with a 3" lip and 38mm offset. You could easily fit the 9.5" ones, same offset and have closer to a 4" lip. Search for Chaman's car

Not sure on sizes you are looking for, but you should look at staggered TSW's. Here are mine, front has ~ 1.75" lip, rear ~ 3" lip. Car is lowered on stranos too with a stock length rearend.
